Gypsy: Villanueva del Pítamo, an enclave of gardens, foundations and history in the heart of Seville. A unique space that emerges in brick, wrought iron and wood, and that remains anchored in a distant time, with its magic still lingering on the walls. And so, we went through its innumerable rooms until we found the right place, where the golden light slipped innocently through the cracks on the wooden shutters that covered the windows.
There we find them, together, between light and shadow. In an oblique atmosphere of endless love, in which only the present moment has a place to be.
There they are, laughing and dancing to a soundtrack of rhythms from other parts of the world. There they are, under a stone ceiling and on the warmth of a carpet, completely oblivious to bridal protocols and fashion trends. On their own, being themselves.
A relaxed, joyful, self-confident bride, wearing her brand new dress when the night comes, appears barefoot, ready to dance, or without reservations in her country boots.
Every detail, carefully designed by Renata Enamorada, is thought to create an atmosphere of warmth and sweetness, where the magic of everyday life reigns. A mosaic of precious pieces: exquisite golden jewels, tableware painted on porcelain and carved glass cups, along with centuries-old pieces that have remained for years in the heart of the Hacienda. Images that leave us a canvas from another era, the subtlety of the natural and the modest, framed in intense greens and wild nature colours, splashing throughout the room, and hanging from the windows and walls.
And the red colour, full of life, lushful, appearing in flowers, in strawberries, raspberries and ripe fruits; it settles as the third protagonist in our story.
A story that reminds us that not all brides wish to be a princess, nor all great romances are like Romeo and Juliet’s. Every detail, every element, carefully designed to leave a written statement, in capital letters, of the freedom of each couple to do on their special day what they really feel.
